Matthijs Tieleman, graduate student in Atlantic history (Carla Pestana and Peg Jacob, co-advisors) has been awarded a Michael Kraus Research Grant by the AHA. The award recognizes “the most deserving proposal relating to work in progress on a research project in American colonial history, with particular reference to the intercultural aspects of American and European relations.”
