Benjamin Madley delivered the Robert Harris Memorial Lecture at Sonoma State University

On March 10, 2026, Benjamin Madley delivered the annual Robert Harris Memorial Lecture at Sonoma State University as part of the 43rd Annual Holocaust and Genocide Lecture Series. The title of his lecture was, “An American Genocide: The United States and the California Indian Catastrophe, 1846-1873.”
