Juana Inés centers on the personal life of the renowned writer and poet of the Colonial times in Mexico: Sor Juana. She is considered an outstanding early feminist of the Americas. The academic literature on Sor Juana is broad and spans across the world. Her life and works continue to be sites of criticism\, debate and contemporary artistic activity.
