Last weekend at the 2019 OAH Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, Joyce Appleby was honored in a panel entitled “The Story of Joyce Appleby’s Achievement Told by American Historians.” 

Among the panelists were UCLA History’s Carla Pestana and Margaret Jacob (as well as UCLA graduates Rosalind Remer and John Majewski, both Professor Appleby’s doctoral students). The full list of panelists is listed below.
