Brenda Stevenson receives the John W. Blassingame Award

Congratulations to Brenda Stevenson, who is the recipient of the John W. Blassingame Award from the Southern Historical Association. The award is given every three years to recognize “distinguished scholarship and/or mentorship in African American history.”
