Aaron Benanav has accepted an appointment as Harper-Schmidt Fellow in the Society of Fellows and Collegiate Assistant Professor in the Social Sciences Collegiate Division at the University of Chicago.  The four-year post-doctoral position will have Aaron teaching the Social Sciences Core curriculum and a course of his own design.  Specializing in social and economic history and Modern Europe since 1740, Aaron has a contract pending with Verso Books to publish his manuscript, A Global History of Unemployment, 1949-2010.
