Erika Pérez (PhD 2010)

Congratulations to Erika Pérez on the publication of her first book, Colonial Intimacies: Interethnic Kinship, Sexuality, and Marriage in Southern California, 1769–1885, part of the Before Gold: California under Spain and Mexico Series of the University of Oklahoma Press.  Dr. Pérez is an assistant professor in the History Department and an afflitiated faculty member in Gender and Women’s Studies at the University of Arizona.
