Congratulations to our graduate student, Matthijs Tieleman (who is working with professors Margaret Jacob and Carla Pestana), who recently received two awards:

  • The McNeil Center for Early American Studies has named him its Society of Cincinnati Fellow (a one year predoctoral residential fellowship)
  • Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture granted him a research and travel award, the Lapidus Early American and Transatlantic Print Culture award
