Sanjay Subrahmanyam Awarded 2019 Dan David Prize in History
SSanjay Subrahmanyam is one of the winners of this year’s Dan David Prize in History for 2019. Sanjay will share the prize with Kenneth Pomeranz of the University of Chicago, for his work in “Macro” or global history. This prestigious international prize, endowed by the Dan David Foundation and headquartered at Tel Aviv University, bestows three prizes of one million dollars each annually in the categories of Past (History), Present, and Future, for “proven, exceptional distinct excellence that make and continue to make an outstanding contribution to humanity.”
An award ceremony will be held in Tel Aviv in May. Congratulations, Sanjay!
