Congratulations to Janice Levi, who received the New Horizons in Jewish Studies Graduate Essay Prize (awarded by the Center for Jewish Studies at the University of California, Irvine) for her essay “Shhhhh: Whispered and Unspoken Transmission of Jewish Culture in 20th and 21st Century Ghana.”  Her faculty sponsor was History Professor Ghislaine Lydon.
