Nana Osei-Opare to Start Tenure Track Job at Fordham University

Nana Osei-Opare, a 2019 Ph.D. candidate, will be starting a tenure track job in colonial and/or post-colonial sub-Saharan African history at Fordham University beginning in the 2019-20 academic year. Nana’s dissertation, “The Red Star State: State-Capitalism, Socialism, and Black Internationalism in Ghana, 1957-1966,” focuses on Kwame Nkrumah and the Soviet impact on Ghana’s pragmatic mixed economy during the first decade of Ghana’s independence.  Congratulations, Nana!
