Marino’s book Feminism for the Americas: the Making of an International Human Rights Movement received an Honorable Mention for the Organization of American Historians (OAH) Mary Nickliss Prize in U.S. Women’s and/or Gender History  for the most original book in U.S. Women’s and/or Gender History, including North America and the Caribbean prior to 1776.
