Professor Emeritus Mortimer Chambers Passes Away

The department is saddened to announce that Mortimer Chambers died peacefully on December 14, 2020.  Mort was a part of the Ancient Field.  His main area of research was Greek history of the classical period, especially Greek historical authors (Thucydides, Aristotle’s Athenian Constitution).
