Thabisile Griffin has been awarded an American Council of Learned Societies Emerging Voices fellowship at the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society at Columbia University. Thabisile earned her PhD in 2021 with her dissertation, “The Unmaking of St. Vincent: Colonial Insecurity and Black Indigeneity, 1780-1797.”
