Teren Sevea Wins Association for Asian Studies’ Harry J. Benda Prize for Best First Book on Southeast Asian Studies
Alumni Teren Sevea (now Assistant Professor at Harvard Divinity School) won the Association for Asian Studies’ Harry J. Benda Prize for best first book on Southeast Asian Studies for the book Miracles and Material Life: Rice, Ore, Traps and Guns in Islamic Malaya (Cambridge University Press, 2020).
