Ph.D Student Ethan Mefford Winner of the 2022 Marjorie and Lancelot Farrar Award

Ph.D student Ethan Mefford has been named winner of the 2022 Marjorie and Lancelot Farrar Award, which is conferred by the Society of French Historical Studies, to support an outstanding in-progress dissertation on any period in French history by students enrolled in a history doctoral program in the U.S. or Canada. Ethan is currently on a Fulbright in Morocco and in France, where he is pursuing research on his dissertation, “Environment, Olive Production, and Resistance in the Moroccan Jbala.”
