Debora Silverman’s research article “Gold Rush, Congo Style: Gustav Klimt’s ‘Expectation and Fulfillment’ in the Palais Stoclet,” was published as Chapter 11 in the edited book, Erasures and Eradications in Modern Viennese Art, Architecture and Design, Routledge NY and London, 2022. Part of this article was delivered as the Hilda Rebay Foundation Lecture for Distinguished Scholar in the History of Art at The Guggenheim Museum in New York.
