Three History Faculty Win Best Historical Materials Prize
Three of the twelve books winning the Best Historical Materials prize from the American Library Association were written by History Department faculty: Wartime North Africa: A Documentary History, 1934-1950 edited by Sarah Stein and Aomar Boum; Codex Sierra: A Nahuatl-Mixtec Book of Accounts from Colonial Mexico written by Kevin Terraciano; and Writings of Warner Mifflin: Forgotten Quaker Abolitionist of the Revolutionary Era, edited by Gary B. Nash and Michael R. McDowell.
