History Undergraduates Win 2024 Library Prizes
Congratulations to History Undergraduate Student Kaitlyn Coons (left) who has won a 2024 UCLA Undergraduate Research prize for her project, “William Leybourn, the Broker of Knowledge: Reconstructing an Early Modern Intellectual Network.” She earned first place in the prize category: “Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences”. Kaitlyn wrote and researched her paper under the guidance of Professor Stefania Tutino, Vice Chair for Academic Personnel & Peter Reill Chair in European History (1450 to Modern).
Congratulations to History Undergraduate Student Lauren Heiberg (right) who has won a 2024 UCLA Undergraduate Research prize for her project, “Charitable Control: Regulation of the Poor at the British Lying-In Hospital.” She is a recipient in the prize category: “Best project using resources from the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library”. Lauren wrote and researched her paper under the guidance of Professor Tawny Paul.
