Gregory Sattler Publishes Article in the Journal of Song-Yuan Studies

Gregory Sattler, a 5th-year Ph.D. candidate in the History Department, has published an article titled “Zhedong Sea Merchants and the China-Japan Trade, ca. 800–1000 CE” in the Journal of Song-Yuan Studies.

The article explores the dynamic maritime trade between China and Japan during the late Tang and early Song periods, focusing on the significant role played by Zhedong sea merchants.
