Professor Emeritus J. Arch Getty Passes Away

J. Arch GettyWe are sad to announce that Professor Emeritus J. Arch Getty passed away on May 19, 2025. He enjoyed a 36-year career in the UC system, joining the faculty at UC Riverside in 1980 before he moved to UCLA in 2000 and retired in 2016. He was a very accomplished scholar and dedicated teacher, and a friendly colleague with a fine sense of humor. A more detailed memorial will be posted soon.
