Two Graduates Selected for 2025 UCLA CERS Pre-Dissertation Research Fellowship

Congratulations to graduate students, Safa Hamzeh (left) and Pin-Hua Chou (right), for being selected to receive a $5,000 Pre-Dissertation Research Fellowship from the UCLA Center for European and Russian Studies (CERS). Awards will support Safa’s project in France and Turkey, “The transformation of an Ottoman rural economy: French commercial expansion and the rise of çiftliks in 18th-century Morea,” and Pin-Hua’s project in France, “Museums During the Franco-Vietnamese Transition of the 1940-1954 Onwards.”
