Jamie Kreiner Awarded Max Planck Society and the Alexander Humboldt Foundation Medal
Congratulations to Professor and Robert and Dorothy Wellman Chair Jamie Kreiner, who was recently awarded the Max Planck Society and the Alexander Humboldt Foundation Medal. This prestigious medal is awarded each year and recognizes Professor Kreiner’s contributions to history at the transition from antiquity to the Middle Ages. The award includes an endowment of 80,000 Euros. An award ceremony honoring Professor Kreiner and the two other medal recipients will take place on December 2, 2025, in Germany.
