Congratulations to Beatriz Cruz López for winning the Francisco Javier Clavijero Prize for the best doctoral thesis in History/Ethnohistory from the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) in Mexico for her UCLA dissertation (2024): “From Ancient Quèhui to Yòlolàhui: Zapotec Sociopolitical and Territorial Organization the Valley of Oaxaca, Sixteenth to Eighteenth Centuries.”
