Vivian V. Hernandez Awarded UC Alianza MX Grant, Named Visiting Researcher at UNAM

We congratulate graduate student Vivian V. Hernandez on receiving the UC Alianza MX Short Stay Grant, which will help fund her research in Mexico City this fall. Vivian will also begin a visiting researcher position at UNAM’s Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios de Género (CIEG), where she will further work on her dissertation, “‘Nos interesa a todas’: Voluntary Motherhood and the Reproductive Rights Movement in Late Twentieth- to Early Twenty-First-Century Mexico.”
