Nelson Denis, the author of the new book War Against All Puerto Ricans: Revolution and Terror in America’s Colony, will be discussing his book, The History of Colonialism in Puerto Rico, and The Plight of Puerto Rican Political Prisoner Oscar López Rivera. The talk will also feature an introduction by Peter James Hudson of the Departments of History and African American Studies.
The event is sponsored by the Latin American Institute, the Department of History, and the Department of African American Studies. It will take place on Friday, October 16 from 3-5 PM in Bunche 10383.
