Biography

Sara is a Ph.D. student in the Department of History at UCLA, in the field of Latin American history. Her current research focuses on the 1968 Mexico City student protests and particularly women’s roles and participation in these protests. More broadly, she is interested in the history of women and gender in modern Mexico, with an emphasis on social movements.
