History Professors Awarded Guggenheim and Other Fellowships

Congratulations to Sarah Stein and Brenda Stevenson, who have been awarded Guggenheim Fellowships for 2015. It has been a banner year for the Department in terms of fellowships, especially for our brilliant women colleagues. In addition to the two Guggenheims, here are some others:
- Carla Pestana: Robert C. Ritchie Distinguished Fellowship, Huntington Library
- Debora Silverman: Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers, The New York Public Library, Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study (Harvard)-- (declined); National Humanities Center--(declined)
- Brenda Stevenson: The Berlin Prize, American Academy in Berlin; the National Humanities Center; and the Stanford Center for Advanced Studies and Behavioral Sciences
