Rezzan Karaman

Graduate student Rezzan Karaman has won the Journal of Middle East Women’s Studies Graduate Student Paper Prize for her paper, “Performativity and Text: Motherhood as a Transforming Political Identity in Turkey.”  This is the second prize the paper won: In October, KASAUM (the Department of Women’s Studies) of Ankara University awarded Karaman the Sati Atakul Gender Studies Article Award.
