Ben Schneider

Biography

Ben Schneider is an MD/PhD student in the history department studying the relationships between hospitals and neighborhoods in twentieth-century Los Angeles. He is interested in questions of health activism, hospital expansion, and health policy in American cities. He is working on a dissertation on the history of Los Angeles General Medical Center from the 1960s-1990s.
