Biography

Chris Abdul Hakim Martinez is a PhD candidate working at the intersection of histories of decolonization and development in 20th century West Africa. His research explores the history and political economy of extractive industries, industrial development, labor militancy, and radical Pan-Africanism in the Republic of Guinea.
