Tamane Takehara

Biography

Tamane Takehara is a first year PhD student focusing on a cultural history on disability in post-1945 Japan. Their research interests include avant-garde art, hibakusha (atomic bomb victims), and the deployment of the rhetorics of disability, injury, and cure in the “postwar.”
