Congratulations to Henry Lovejoy, whose Prieto: Yorùbá Kingship in Colonial Cuba During the Age of Revolutions (University of North Carolina Press, 2019) was selected as co-winner of the 2020 Isaac Oluwole Delano Book Prize for Yoruba Studies. Matthijs Tieleman recently won the Research Travel Award from the Forum on Early-Modern Empires and Global Interaction (FEEGI) for his anticipated research in the United Kingdom and Ireland for the revisions of his dissertation and upcoming book project, tentatively entitled The Patriot Atlantic: North America, the Dutch Republic, and Ireland in the Age of Revolutions.
