The American Historical Association has recently announced that Phoebe Musandu has won the Eugenia M. Palmegiano Prize in the history of journalism for her book Pressing Interests: The Agenda and Influence of a Colonial East African Newspaper Sector (McGill-Queen’s Univ. Press, 2018). Phoebe is an Associate Professor of History at SFS-Qatar for Georgetown University.
