Ben Schneider

Biography

Ben Schneider is an MD/PhD student in the history department studying the relationships between hospitals and neighborhoods in twentieth-century Los Angeles. He is interested in questions of housing displacement, health system expansion, and health policy in American cities. His previous research investigated expansion and resistance at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he completed his undergraduate work in 2021.
